New Baby, Awesome Gatherings, and Growing Community (Baby Pics Inside!)

It's been another amazing few months for our family! In January, we were thrilled to begin hosting our community's weekly fellowship time where we share a meal, worship, pray for each other, and often, hear a word of exhortation. Together with Community Worship on Friday nights, we host an average of 30-50 people every week in our hospitality house in Newport News. This is in addition to the regular times of prayer and worship that take place in The Prayer Room, which all together averages at least fifteen hours a week.

But most of all, we have been ecstatic to see Scripture fulfilled in our midst, as we have committed to fulfilling Malachi 1:11 in our city. Malachi promised that in every place, day and night prayer would be offered to Yahweh, and by God's grace we have done this for 35 days! Our hope is that there will never cease to be a place of day and night prayer in our city until Jesus returns to the earth.

As the Co-Director of Collegiate Awakening Network, I have also had the joy of sowing into what God is doing on college campuses throughout the entire state. Our amazing team has been supporting students on campuses such as Virginia Tech, Christopher Newport University, University of Virginia, Liberty University, Longwood University, and others. For the Collegiate Day of prayer, we gathered over 100 students and leaders to pray at CNU and Liberty, in addition to hosting three weekly prayer meetings for a month and a half leading up to these events. Our team also participated in an event at VT where a thousand students gathered to lift high the name of Jesus. We have seen healings, salvations, and miracles produced through faith-filled prayer and action this year!

I was also honored to speak at THRIVE and the Collegiate Day of Prayer at CNU, as well as lead worship for All Generation's Church, a monthly gathering of students, and a good friend's ordination service. Additionally, the weekly worship night that we restarted at William and Mary continues to gather students on that campus for public worship.
Needless to say, we've been busy.
But, of course, there's more!
We had a beautiful baby girl on February 16, 2017!!! Phylla (pronounced FEE-la) Magdalene McDade was born two hours before her scheduled induction. She was eighteen days overdue, but was born without a single problem. She is beautiful and such a delight to our family!

Until His glory covers the earth,
The McDades
